Meet the Doctor

Dr. Tracey Hagen grew up in Roseau, Minnesota, a small town up along the Canadian border. She has loved horses for as long as she can remember. She started with a stubborn Shetland pony and moved up to Quarter Horses as she got older. She loved showing Western and gaming events in 4-H. The two horses in her pasture today and grandchildren of the mare she showed in 4H.

She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and has been an equine vet for 27 years. She started out in a very busy Equine practice in Lakeville, MN. Three years later she moved out to Colorado and worked at an Equine clinic in Littleton. She was able to study dentistry with some specialists and grew to love it. She was also able to take courses in Animal Chiropractic and became certified through the AVCA (American Veterinary Chiropractic Association) in 1999.

After having her third and fourth child she started working part-time on her own and specializing in Equine Dentistry and Animal Chiropractic. She has recently completed training in Graston Technique and Kinesiology Taping. These are both soft tissue therapies that greatly enhance chiropractic treatment and soft tissue injuries and their healing times.

Tracey lives in Parker, CO with her family and many animal companions. She loves reading, obstacle races, paddleboarding, hiking, the outdoors and all Colorado has to offer. She is also very active in Douglas County 4-H as a livestock leader for her club.
